Technogym founder, Nerio Alessandri, has unveiled his trademarked 'Healthness' concept at the Technogym 25th Wellness Congress.
The new word joins the company's lexicon which includes its strapline as 'The Wellness Company'.
Healthness leverages wellness data collected over 30 years on Technogym's Mywellness Open Platform, blending it with data from Technogym Checkup – an assessment station based on AI that analyses psycho-physical and cognitive parameters.
"The ability to predict disease before it occurs will be the greatest revolution of our time," said Alessandri. "Healthness leverages wellness and takes this vision even further by making health prevention programs tangible, thanks to data and AI."
Hyperpersonalised programmes can then be developed to optimise health, which can improve results by 30 per cent more than a regular programme in the same time frame.
A preventative approach which Technogym hopes will improve physical performance in the short term and guarantee healthy longevity in the long term, Healthness programmes target muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, balance, flexibility and cognitive quality.
Technogym's AI-based bio-strength and bio-cardio product ranges, connected to the Technogym Ecosystem, allow operators to deliver precision training programmes automatically via the Technogym App, to track data and adapt the programme to enable progression.
