Denbighshire Leisure is driving junior memberships following upgrades to its new gym at Prestatyn Leisure.
Young people are being invited to try out a range of fun fitness activities for free at two open days this month. This will involve an introduction to the new gym which features Technogym kit including Excite Live cardio equipment. Sessions designed for teens aged 11 to 17 will be on offer, as well as the chance to try other activities on offer including the Clip ‘n’ Climb.
A range of special offers have been created exclusively for those attending the open days, including a first month free offer for junior memberships and money off vouchers.
In 2024, Prestatyn Leisure was relaunched as the ultimate junior fitness hub in North Wales, with a Prama studio – a digital fitness experience from Pavigym where sound, lights, floors and walls motivate and guide through a unique training experience. This has already proved popular with high school pupils. The timetable is now being expanded to offer instructor-led sessions for junior members and local junior sports clubs.
Jamie Groves, Managing Director of DLL, said: "We believe the opening of this fabulous new gym facility will further establish Prestatyn Leisure's reputation as the junior fitness hub in North Wales.”
Starting this month, Prestatyn Leisure's new fitness suite will also feature exclusive sessions for Foundation Members, a membership category created by DLL for those starting out on their fitness journey and looking for tailored support.
