Arnold doesn’t need advertising. He never has. His personality—and the status he has earned over decades—allow him the luxury of an extraordinary simplicity. Even the simplicity of training at a trade show booth. Yes, right in the middle of the crowd. In the heart of an expo.
Meeting Arnold at one of his events is the ultimate experience—the dream of every fan. Yet it always depends on two unpredictable variables: the right place and the right moment. These are never listed in the official program, because Arnold moves as his schedule allows—and as he chooses.
And still, in recent years, something has happened with surprising consistency: the Panatta booth has often become that “right place.” This was true again in 2024 at Arnold UK. On Friday, March 6, 2026, in Columbus, Arnold visited the main sponsors (Panatta is a Gold Sponsor this year), but before that he did something even simpler and more authentic: he completed his morning workout at the Panatta booth.
It is passion meeting business—naturally and intelligently. Nothing forced. Nothing staged.
This raises a question: if Arnold trains at the expo, where does the real celebration take place? On the expo floor, or on the competition stages of the Arnold Classic?
Arnold also takes selfies with athletes on stage. Because in him, two perspectives merge into one: the Arnold Sports Festival as a global business, and the Arnold Sports Festival as pure passion.
It is a simple lesson—but an incredibly powerful one.
It also answers a deeper question: how much do you live what you sell? And how much do you sell what you live? A meaningful reflection in an age where filters and reality often blur.
The icons of our sport—with Arnold at the very top—show how passion can create a business, and how genuine business can continue to fuel passion. In this sense, Arnold finds at the Panatta booth a shared space… almost a family atmosphere.
Just as Arnold began his journey in the gym, Rudi Panatta designs his machines starting from the sensations of the training body. Not from software. Not from spreadsheets. But from biomechanics experienced firsthand.
Arnold takes selfies in front of the stage—even as the organiser—because he stands, rightfully, within the framework he helped create. Panatta builds equipment because he knows exactly what an athlete should feel when moving a load.
It is the same language.
In 1970, Arnold competed at Mr. World. He won and promised Jim Lorimer—then mayor of Worthington, Columbus, Ohio—that he would promote bodybuilding after his competitive career. That moment came, and in 1989 the first Arnold Classic was launched by Schwarzenegger and Lorimer together.
Today, 38 years later, it has become the largest sports expo in the United States—and a stage for major competitions that confirm or anticipate Olympia results, supported this year by USD $750,000 in prize money.
Arnold still promotes what he lives—bodybuilding—and lives what he promotes. The parallel with Panatta’s philosophy and mission is unmistakable.
Lee Haney would say: “Like refines like.” And Arnold, with his legendary Austrian pragmatism, would likely say it even more directly. But at this Arnold Sports Festival, he expressed it through action: training back and chest—symbolically the back of legacy and the chest of heart—on Panatta equipment, including the new Panatta Fantastic line.

With close to 300 franchised locations spanning six continents, World Gym International is one of the most historic and recognized fitness brands globally. Its iconic community of active and loyal members dates back to the '70s, the golden era of Santa Monica's "Muscle Beach" in California, when the legend Joe Gold opened the very first World Gym. Yarishna Ayala and Lauralie Chapados: the new Panatta Ambassadors strength, style and female inspiration
Performance and style come together in Yarishna Ayala and Lauralie Chapados, chosen by Panatta to represent the values of a brand synonymous with innovation and success. Both athletes now join the great Made in Italy team, a leader in bodybuilding and fitness equipment, already featuring legendary figures such as Ronnie Coleman, Lee Haney, and Phil Heath.
Lauralie Chapados, known as the “Dark Horse,” made history in bodybuilding by winning the Ms. Bikini Olympia 2024 title, with an impressive record: 12 Pro wins and top placements at the Olympia and the Arnold Classic (three-time champion). Panatta goes stars & stripes: partnership with Powerhouse renewed
The closing took place in recent days, marking a significant milestone in the expansion strategy of the Marche-based company, a global reference point for high-end fitness equipment for decades. Founded in 1974 in Michigan by brothers William and Norman Dabish, Powerhouse Gym is today one of the world’s most recognised fitness chains, with more than 300 clubs across 39 states, 1.2 million members, and top-tier ambassadors including Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Rock, and Jennifer Aniston.
“For us, it is a great honour to be Powerhouse Gym’s partner in this new project,” said Edoardo Panatta, Vice President of Panatta. “This agreement consolidates our presence in the United States, a strategic market for the future of fitness and the growth of our brand.” With this new entry into the heart of American fitness, Panatta confirms its international vocation and its role as a key player in bringing Italian-made biomechanics, design, and innovation into the world’s most prestigious gyms.

Panatta, a record-breaking 2024
Over €56 million in consolidated revenue and 22,000 machines sold for a Made in Italy brand that exports 76% of its production to 109 countries worldwide—especially the United States, Europe, the Gulf States, and South Korea. Panatta is flexing its muscles: the Marche-based company, a leader in the design and manufacturing of bodybuilding and fitness equipment, is celebrating from its headquarters in Apiro (province of Macerata) a +33% growth in consolidated revenue compared to 2023, and a global production value exceeding €120 million. A solid and sustained growth.
“More and more operators and clients around the world are choosing the Made in Italy label by Panatta. We supply equipment for bodybuilding and fitness, but we don’t just sell machines—we export a training culture and Italian style,” says Rudi Panatta, owner and founder of the company.
“The secret? A passion for biomechanics and isotonic training, and a Gen Z that’s returning to the gym with clear goals: muscle definition, functional strength, and long-term wellness. Today, isotonic training is the dominant trend—the new frontier of fitness—and through hard work, commitment, and time, we’ve become a global reference point in this field.”
The most in-demand colors internationally are matte black and red—a combination that perfectly represents the brand’s essence: red for passion, energy, and drive; black for technique and determination.
A rapidly growing company, Panatta aims to surpass €65 million in consolidated revenue by 2025, with a final production value of €130 million. But Panatta also represents a major economic and employment opportunity for a region—like the inland area of Macerata—otherwise at risk of depopulation.
“Today we employ 210 people,” adds Panatta, “all with salaries above the national average. For example, a key account manager at Panatta earns a minimum gross annual salary of €53,000. Our employees are supported by a robust corporate welfare plan, designed for them and their families—from a €1,000 baby bonus for each newborn to free nursery care, a free company gym, and a subsidized canteen where a full meal costs just €3. We also offer fully furnished housing for employees who live far from work and interest-free loans up to €3,000. Over the past three years, we’ve hired 66 new people, and we aim to reach 230 employees by the end of this year.”
And the surprises don’t end there: Panatta is preparing to complete several major projects currently underway.
In June, a new 1,600 m² production facility will open next to the current headquarters to support manufacturing expansion, along with the new Hotel Eldorado in Apiro, recently acquired and fully renovated by the Panatta family.
In September, the new Il David 2 gym will open—a 2,500 m² space located in nearby Monteroberto.
