– Matt Miller

Matt Miller, founder of leading yoga training platform Broga has announced the launch of Earth+Sky – a collection of cinematic virtual wellbeing classes filmed in breath-taking locations around the world.

What is Earth+Sky?

Created in collaboration between Broga, Music Concierge, FitboxVirtual and Hutchison Technologies, Earth+Sky offers turnkey solutions for operators to deliver high-end, bespoke wellbeing class collections.

Over the past few years, virtual fitness classes have become commonplace, but Miller and his team recognised that the quality of available content didn’t meet the expectations of visitors to luxury spas, high-end hotels and top-tier leisure clubs.

In response, Earth+Sky have created a premium collection of beautifully produced wellness classes guided by industry-leading instructors.

Developed specifically to bring a luxurious virtual wellness experience to these premium consumers, Earth+Sky delivers a personal journey they won’t soon forget.

Rob Wood, founder of Music Concierge said: “A gym and spa are no longer enough, today’s travellers want everything from mental wellbeing to sustainable nutrition, and compelling classes that aid relaxation, core strength, fitness or posture.

“Hotels and spas need to offer the full range of wellness services integrated into every stay.”

Unparalleled production

By combining beautiful cinematography, stunning locations and bespoke curated music with highly qualified and respected instructors, Earth+Sky stands out in a crowded wellness market.

Each instructor is a big name within their industry – such as Soloist of The Royal Ballet Company, Fernando Montano, and Yoga Master Trainer to the British Armed Forces, Ben Harrison.

Every stunning location has been carefully selected for its connection to the instructor’s story, be it the expansive landscape of the North African desert sands, or the lush Somerset countryside.

Wood added: “We’re finding that the quality of the inspiring classes and the immersive locations they were filmed in is really engaging with audiences giving a hotel or spa’s wellness offering an innovative edge.”

The classes

The platform offers four categories of fitness styles:

- Core & Alignment

- Meditation & Restorative

- Flowing Movement

- Strength & Power

There are classes of varying lengths for every ability and experience level to suit all users.

Miller commented: “I have created fitness class content for several incredible brands, but in looking at the future of wellness, the roots had to be set firmly in two values. Establishing both a mental and physical health connection in every class and creating relatable emotional connectivity between student and teacher.

“I truly believe we’re the first company to even try to accomplish this. And the result is a content library which soars above my wildest hopes of what virtual fitness could be.”

Delivery options

Earth+Sky classes can be streamed directly to fitness studios through a pre-scheduled programme without the need of an instructor or experienced on-demand via an intuitive touchscreen.

Other delivery methods include a bespoke member app to enable users to practice anytime, anywhere, as well as hotel-specific in-room tv delivery.

Mark Hutchison, co-founder of Earth+Sky and director of Hutchison Technologies, said: “Earth+Sky was built out of a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, and to help hotels and spas elevate their wellbeing offering.

“Our sophisticated delivery options enable guests to experience our premium class content at times that suit them, either in group settings or from the privacy of their own room.

“Earth+Sky allows the spa or wellness programme to be easily and cost-effectively extended out of the spa into the rest of the property.”

Creating bespoke studio spaces

Due to its connection within the fitness and tech world, the Earth+Sky team can also provide expert guidance on creating state-of-the-art virtual studio spaces – from reimagining existing studios to best display Earth+Sky virtual content to designing a completely bespoke facility.

Andy Pitman, founder of FitboxVirtual and co-founder of Earth+Sky, said: “Our mission is quite simply to deliver only the best customer experiences possible – helping our clients deliver unique stand-out concepts that add value, increase engagement and have a positive impact on brand strength.”
