– Eric Min, co-CEO of Zwift

Eric Min, Zwift's co-founder, has announced that Kurt Beidler has joined the company as Co-CEO. Beidler moves over to Zwift after a 17-year stint at Amazon.

For most of the last eight years Beidler was GM for Amazon Kids, which Min says has a subscription service that is structurally similar to Zwift.

“Kurt led the Kids+ team of several hundred people to grow Kids+ into the largest kid-focused subscription service in the world,” said Min in a LinkedIn announcement. “I will partner closely with Kurt as he takes the reins of Zwift’s core business and ramps up in his new role,”

Min will share the co-CEO title and once Beidler is up to speed he will focus on expanding other areas of the business.

“For me, rather than being spread thin trying to do it all myself, I will have time to go deeper into specific areas that are also critical to Zwift's long-term success,” said Min. “In addition to my new role as co-CEO, I will continue to chair the board."

Zwift was co-founded by Min, Jon Mayfield, Scott Barger and Alarik Myrin, in 2014 and transformed the indoor cycling industry. The platform enables runners and cyclists to experience immersive virtual spaces for friendly sessions or competition through an app connected to their bike trainer or treadmill. Earlier this year, the company entered the smart trainer market for the first time with Zwift Hub through a partnership with Jet Black.
