ClassPass is organising a day of free, live fitness classes to be broadcast around the world on 24 April.
The fitness subscription platform is inviting individuals of all ages, abilities and geographies to move together with a selection of classes that require no equipment and can be undertaken from the safety of homes.
Designed to "celebrate the power of inclusivity and intention", the Together We Sweat classes will be hosted by seven fitness studios from around the globe – Lean Bean (Sydney, Australia), Ground Zero (Singapore), The Platform (Dubai, UAE), Saints & Stars (Amsterdam, The Netherlands), BLOK (London, UK), Rumble (New York, US) and 305 Fitness (Los Angeles, US).
The studios will showcase a variety of genres including Pilates, barre, HIIT, dance cardio and boxing.
There is no limit to the number of classes each person can take part in and the sessions will be streamed throughout the day from ClassPass’ YouTube Live channel.
“Group workouts build camaraderie, accountability and community," said Shari Castelli, ClassPass director of partner expansion.
"When we show up to support and challenge each other, we work harder and grow stronger.
"Together We Sweat is a day for people from all backgrounds to move without judgement or expectation, and to commit to doing something positive together."
