Spanish preventative health operator, SHA Wellness, is collaborating with Whoop to enhance its Leaders Performance Programmes, designed to help high-achieving guests achieve their full mental and physical potential.

CEOs, elite athletes and entrepreneurs enrolled in the SHA Leaders Performance Programmes at both SHA Spain and SHA Mexico will now have access to real-time biofeedback.

Data collected by Whoop’s wearables include measurements for HRV, sleep quality, strain and recovery. This information will be combined with SHA’s advanced diagnostics, precision nutrition, cellular therapies and biohacking protocols to deliver personalised longevity strategies for guests.

The expanded datasets will create a more holistic health picture. Guests enrolled in the Leaders Performance Programme for seven nights or more will receive a personalised medical consultation, a Whoop device and a 12-month membership to the Whoop Unite platform. The platform is a digital forum used to share the collected data with healthcare providers, such as SHA. Doctors at SHA will then interpret guests’ data to provide a clearer understanding of their health outcomes and any interventions required.

“Whoop enables us to turn science into self-awareness,” said Dr Silvia, medical director at SHA Spain. “Each data point helps us tailor decisions that transform how our guests perform, recover and live.”

The data collected will remain the exclusive property of the guest, ensuring full privacy and ownership beyond their stay.

The Leaders Performance Programme is available at SHA Spain in Alicante as well as SHA Mexico in Costa Mujeres. The price for a seven-night package starts from US$7,000 (€6,210, £5,271) in Mexico and €7,500 (US$8,457, £6,365) in Spain.

The Mexican property opened in January last year, 15 years after SHA established the cutting-edge preventative health and spa facility in Alicante. Read more about the Mexican property here.

SHA is known for its holistic approach to blending anti-ageing and genetic medicine with natural therapies and macrobiotics. The company plans to roll out the brand on all continents in the next 10 years. Read more about the next property – SHA Emirates – which is due to open in Abu Dhabi in 2026, here.
