Peloton launches Corporate Wellness platform

By
Peloton has launched a new Corporate Wellness platform
Businesses in the US, the UK, Canada and Germany can sign up as Peloton Corporate Wellness partners
This will result in them being able to offer employees subsidised access to Peloton's services
Peloton says the new service is a "natural extension"

Peloton is expanding its reach within the online fitness market with the launch of a new Corporate Wellness platform.

The service will be made available to businesses and organisations operating in the US, the UK, Canada and Germany – with Australia to be added "later this year".

From today (22 June), businesses can sign up as Peloton Corporate Wellness partners.

This will result in them being able to offer employees subsidised access to Peloton Digital and All Access Memberships, as well as exclusive benefits on Connected Fitness products.

Corporate Wellness partners will receive access to tailored features and will be able to measure the impact the service has.

They will also benefit from Peloton’s brand and marketing expertise, knowledge of member engagement, and community-building tools.

Cassidy Rouse will lead the new team as Global General Manager of Peloton Corporate Wellness, reporting to Tim Shannehan, Peloton’s chief revenue officer.

In his role, Rouse will lead the team helping make Peloton "more accessible".

Peloton's president, William Lynch, said: "Introducing Peloton Corporate Wellness is the latest step to making the Peloton experience more accessible.

"The new service is the natural extension for us to be able to scale our offering.

"Together with our Corporate Wellness partners, we’re now able to share the experience with millions more, while also driving stronger culture and community within the workplace.”

Companies that have signed up to the new service in the US include Wayfair, Samsung, SAP and Accenture Interactive.

Among the first Peloton Corporate Wellness partners is UK broadcaster and telecommunications giant Sky.

Stephen van Rooyen, CEO, for Sky UK & Europe, said: "We’re excited to expand our partnership with Peloton to make fitness more accessible to our thousands of employees.

"They already love the Peloton bikes we provide in our gym, and we look forward to working with Peloton on making a lasting impact on their wellbeing."

During the first three months of 2021, total workouts on the Peloton platform grew to 171 million, an increase from 48 million in the same time period last year.
