Fitness Industry Technology Council launches Fitness Technology Innovation Awards

The Fitness Industry Technology Council (FITC) has launched its inaugural Fitness Technology Innovation Awards.

Looking to celebrate fitness tech innovations which broke the mould during a challenging 2020, the awards will see winners in three categories.

The Most Innovating Fitness Professional award will be presented to the individual who demonstrates innovation using technology to serve their clients in unique and new ways.

The Most Innovating Supplier award will look to reward a company which created and/or delivered innovative tech solutions to serve club members and professionals in 2020.

The Most Innovating Fitness Facility award will go the a gym, health club or studio which created and delivered innovative technology solutions.

Specifically, FITC will be looking for innovations which were created in response to the pandemic.

"We encourage everyone to apply and nominate those who have demonstrated new solutions to serve their clients in unique and better ways," the FITC said.

"Winners will receive special awards and recognition for their efforts."

Those interested in submitting an entry can do so at the FITC website (click here).

Nominations will close on 31 January 2021.
