At-home functional training platform Atom launches

By
An at-home functional training platform has been launched, offering consumers a 'complete home gym kit'
Called Atom, the platform has been created and launched by lifestyle brand RPM Training
The service will offer a library of on-demand and live programming
The at-home gym kits are priced between US749 and US$1,499

A new at-home functional training platform, offering consumers a 'complete home gym kit' and a library of on-demand and live programming, has gone live.

Called Atom, the platform has been created and launched by lifestyle brand RPM Training and combines strength equipment with daily workouts and unlimited digital classes.

Marketed as the "only true connected strength and conditioning programme", Atom will offer consumers three different home gym setups – Axis, Fly, and Power.

Each will be custom-built to the user's ability level and space limitations and every piece of equipment is needed to follow the Atomic training programme.

The Axis Kit contains a plyobox, two dumbbells, sandbag, kettlebell, and jump rope, in addition to a full set of smaller accessory pieces: a core mat, training mat, foam roller, myoball, and set of resistance bands.

The Fly Kit contains everything in the Axis Kit, plus an adjustable or fixed pull-up bar and gymnastics rings.

The Power Kit contains everything in the Fly Kit, plus a barbell, bumper plates, and barbell collars.

RPM CEO Shane Rogers said: "If a customer already knows their appropriate equipment loading, they can select a kit and check out immediately.

"If not, a quick assessment process will guide them to the best kit for their needs and skill level."

At launch, the kit will be priced at US$749 (Axis Kit), US$999 (The Fly) and US$1,499 (Power Kit).

Each kit purchase includes a three-month free trial of Atom training, after which membership will cost US$29 per month.

Rogers added: "A fundamental pillar of the RPM ethos is our commitment to elevated, considered design.

"We're constantly asking how we can improve on the status quo and make a better product that we'd actually use ourselves.

"Our creative team has pushed the envelope on everything from the physical gear to the software and content side, where we're bringing what we believe is revolutionary sophistication to our virtual class and leaderboard solutions."
