Soul Cycle has signed a multi-year partnership with Class Pass making sessions accessible via credits to all Class Pass users.
According to the Class Pass – which has seen a 95 per cent increase in fitness reservations this year compared with 2021 – indoor cycling is one of its most popular disciplines.
"We've heard our members' rally cries to add Soul Cycle to our network," said Fritz Lanman, CEO of Mindbody and Class Pass.
Soul Cycle is back on the growth trail again following pandemic challenges which saw it close 25 per cent of its studios earlier this year.
In a bid to move on from past challenges, Soul Cycle leaders have expressed positivity regarding the Class Pass partnership. "We're delighted to partner with Class Pass to share the magic of Soul with their members,” said Evelyn Webster, the new CEO of Soul Cycle. “Soul Cycle is an extraordinary workout, one that exercises the mind, soul and body.”
Earlier this year Soul Cycle bosses launched a controversial campaign that offered 47 SoulCycle classes to up to 100 Peloton subscribers in return for their bike. Soul Cycle’s at-home bike costs US$2,500, while Peloton – which is facing its own troubles, including workforce cuts and legal actions – sells its standard model for US$1,445.
Class Pass is owned by studio, fitness and health club software outfit, Mindbody.
