Elevate to celebrate 10 years with biggest ever waterfront drinks party, supported by SHUA Fitness

With just weeks to go until doors open on the 10th anniversary edition of Elevate, organisers have announced what will be the event’s biggest-ever drinks reception, bringing the industry together to celebrate a decade of Elevate at the Waterfront Street Kitchen & Bar outside Excel London.

Taking place at the close of day one on Wednesday 17 June and supported by SHUA Fitness, the anniversary reception will welcome exhibitors, delegates, speakers and partners to celebrate the brands, organisations and individuals that have helped shape Elevate since its launch in 2016.

The event will feature food, drinks and entertainment as the sector marks a milestone for what has become the UK’s leading trade event for physical activity, fitness, sport, leisure and wellbeing.

For SHUA Fitness, the partnership represents a significant milestone as the company formally enters the UK market. Already established internationally as a major commercial fitness equipment manufacturer, SHUA will use Elevate’s 10th anniversary to strengthen relationships with operators and industry partners, while underlining its long-term commitment to supporting future growth of the UK fitness and leisure sector.

Elevate 2026 will bring together more than 200 brands alongside one of the sector’s largest free in-person education programmes. Across the two days, the Debate, Generate, Accelerate and Collaborate theatres will host expert-led discussions, workshops and partner sessions exploring fitness, technology, wellbeing, community health and performance.

Future Fit, Elevate’s official Education Partner, will once again lead a major strand of the programme, reinforcing the event’s focus on professional development and industry collaboration.

The exhibition floor will feature product launches, live demonstrations and technology showcases from across the sector, alongside a large networking lounge supported by a record number of partners.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Elevate 2026 will also introduce Legacy Education Sessions and an interactive Innovation Trail, delivered in partnership with Intelligent Health’s Beat the Street activation. The trail will highlight pioneering products and long-standing Legacy Partners including Active IQ, CIMSPA, Health Club Management, Myzone, Jordan, InBody, Origin, RLSS, Gantner, JPL, The Hygiene Company, Xplor and STA.

To mark this anniversary, attendees and exhibitors will also be invited to contribute to a special on-site feature celebrating the future of the sector. Visitors will be encouraged to share messages, ideas and ambitions for the future of physical activity, fitness and wellbeing, creating a collective industry snapshot as Elevate looks ahead to its next decade.

Jon Johnston, Country Manager UK of SHUA Fitness, said: “Elevate embodies the ambition and energy of the UK fitness industry, which is exactly why we wanted to support this milestone event.

Our partnership with Elevate reflects SHUA Fitness’ long-term commitment to the UK market and the role we believe we can play within it. This is an opportunity to build relationships with the operators, suppliers and partners who continue to shape our dynamic and resilient industry.

As the sector continues to evolve, operators are increasingly looking for partners who can combine innovation, operational reliability and long-term commercial value at scale. That is where SHUA Fitness can make a meaningful impact.”

Lucy Findlay-Beale, Event Director at Elevate, added: “Celebrating 10 years of Elevate is an incredibly proud milestone for everybody involved with the event. What started in 2016 has grown into the industry’s leading meeting place for physical activity, fitness, sport and wellbeing professionals.

“This year’s event is our most ambitious yet, from the scale of the exhibition and education programme through to the new experiences across the show floor. With registrations already ahead of last year, we’re expecting our biggest and most impactful edition yet.”

Elevate 2026 takes place on 17–18 June at Excel London.

Registrations are already running more than 10% ahead of the same point last year, with organisers expecting the largest edition of Elevate to date. To reserve a place at the event, visit elevatearena.com.

Mr Motivator all set to supercharge Elevate 2026

Elevate is turning up the energy this June as Mr Motivator takes to the stage, leading a dynamic movement break designed to re-energise attendees between education sessions and keep the industry moving, literally.

On Wednesday 17 June, Mr Motivator's presence, in his role as an ambassador for Innerva, will transform Elevate from a traditional trade show into a more immersive, participatory environment, reinforcing the event’s commitment to wellbeing in action, not just theory.

Appearing on the Debate stage with a team of his ‘motivators’, Mr Motivator, aka Derrick Errol Evans, will be driving a high-energy discussion around active ageing and the industry’s responsibility to better serve this rapidly growing demographic and throughout the day, he will be on the Innerva stand, hosting meet-and-greets and engaging directly with attendees.

He will be championing inclusive, accessible exercise, particularly for older adults and those new to physical activity. Through this role, he works to promote equipment and programmes that support functional fitness, independence and long-term health, aligning closely with the industry’s growing focus on active ageing.

With the UK’s ageing population increasing, operators, suppliers and decision-makers face a significant opportunity, and challenge, to evolve their offer. Mr Motivator’s session will act as a rallying call, encouraging the sector to rethink how it designs environments, programmes and experiences that are truly inclusive and community-driven.

“Active ageing isn’t optional, it’s essential.” Mr Motivator explains. “We’ve got a generation of people who want to live longer, stronger, and more independently, but the industry has to step up. I’m living proof that movement is medicine. When you create the right environment, where people feel welcome, supported, and part of something, you don’t just change health outcomes, you build communities.

"Older adults are some of the most loyal members you’ll ever have. If the industry gets this right, the impact will be huge, for retention, for community, and for secondary spend.”

Laura Childs, marketing & communications manager at Innerva, adds: “We believe active ageing should sit at the heart of the sector’s future. Too many people are still excluded by traditional fitness environments, when in reality, this is a growing, engaged and underserved audience.

"Working with Mr Motivator allows us to bring energy and visibility to this conversation and demonstrate what inclusive, effective exercise can look like in practice. Elevate provides the perfect platform to connect with operators and inspire real change.”

“Elevate is all about delivering real, tangible value to our attendees,” says Lucy Findlay-Beale, event director of Elevate. “Bringing Mr Motivator into the heart of the show experience in partnership with Innerva allows us to do exactly that.”

Alongside this, EMD UK will also run a series of separate movement breaks, adding a new dimension to the event experience. Together, these interactive sessions are designed to boost energy, improve focus and demonstrate in real time the power of accessible movement.

“These movement sessions will keep energy levels high across the day, while reinforcing an important message: that movement should be accessible to everyone. Combined with his contribution to the education programme, this is about creating an experience that inspires action long after the show packs down.”

Mr Motivator will appear throughout the show on Wednesday 17 June, with his Debate stage session taking place at 12:10 as part of a wider programme exploring innovation, inclusion and the future of physical activity across all ages.

Elevate 2026 - Debate Theatre agenda released
As we mark a decade since our first event in 2016, the 2026 edition of Elevate is both a celebration and a look at what the next ten years will hold for our sector.

17-18 June |  Excel London

A lot has changed in a decade. Standards are higher, collaboration is stronger, and the link between physical activity and healthcare is more embedded than ever before. This June, we return to Excel London to recognize that progress and tackle the challenges still ahead.

New for 2026: A different approach to the stage
To bring even more depth to our sessions, each of our four curated theatres will now be led by an industry specialist host. These hosts will introduce panels, pose the tough questions, and ensure you get the practical takeaways you need.

At the heart of the event remains the exhibition floor—the largest of its kind in the UK. This year, we are launching a 10-Year Exhibitor Trail to recognise the partners who have stood with us since the very beginning.

Reflecting on our legacy

We are introducing Legacy Sessions—a reappraisal of the big topics we first tackled in 2016. Some of these sessions will feature original speakers from ten years ago, offering a unique chance to see how the evidence has evolved and where we go from here.

We are also proud to welcome back some of our most popular speakers, including:

  • Sarah Watts, CEO, Alliance Leisure
  • Tara Dillon, CEO, CIMSPA
  • David Stalker, chair, ukactive
  • Davina Deniszczyc,  medical director, Nuffield Health
  • Katherine Knight, director, Intelligent Health

Beat The Street Exhibitor Trail announced for 10th anniversary Elevate 2026

Elevate will mark its 10th anniversary in 2026 with a special interactive activation delivered in partnership with Intelligent Health, the organisation founded by Dr. William Bird and creator of the widely adopted Beat the Street physical activity programme.

Taking place at Excel London on 17–18 June 2026, the anniversary edition of Elevate will feature a show-wide Exhibitor Trail designed to encourage attendees to explore the exhibition floor while recognising companies that have supported the event since its launch in 2016.

As part of the activation, Beat Boxes will be positioned at the stands of the Legacy Exhibitors - brands that have been present at every Elevate event over the past decade. Visitors will be invited to locate and interact with each Beat Box during the show, creating a simple and engaging route through the  extensive exhibition that highlights long-standing partners while encouraging greater discovery across the show floor.

The concept draws on Intelligent Health’s Beat the Street programme which has been deployed in communities across the UK and internationally to encourage people to move more through the use of gamification and technology. By adapting elements of the programme for the exhibition environment, the activation aims to encourage engagement  and movement while reinforcing Elevate’s wider mission to promote physical activity, innovation and collaboration across the sector.

The activation also reflects the long-standing relationship between Elevate and Intelligent Health, which has supported the event since its first year. The collaboration forms part of a wider programme of activity planned to celebrate the show’s 10th anniversary, recognising the organisations and individuals that have helped shape its development over the past decade.

During the event, attendees will be encouraged to visit each of the 15 Beat Box locations across the exhibition floor. A central collection and return point will be located at the Intelligent Health stand, where participants who have visited every location will complete the Trail. Those who finish the challenge will be entered into a prize draw, providing an additional incentive for visitors to explore the show and engage with participating exhibitors.

“Beat The Street will bring a whole new level of fun and interaction to the exhibition floor.” explains Dr William Bird MBE, founder of Intelligent Health. “Since 2010 we have been working hard to establish Beat To The Street in towns and cities across the UK and abroad to transform every neighbourhood into a thriving, active place through movement and connection.

“The fun gamification element of Beat the Street will help to encourage delegates to explore areas of the floor that they may not otherwise visit and to win prizes at the same time.”

To support the experience, Beat Box locations will be clearly highlighted within the printed exhibition map in the official show guide. Each legacy exhibitor stand hosting a Beat Box will be marked with a dedicated symbol, allowing attendees to easily identify participating locations and navigate the trail throughout the event.

Lucy Findlay-Beale, Elevate event director, says: “Intelligent Health has been a consistent supporter of Elevate across our ten-year history. This year, in addition to running the Exhibitor Trail, Katherine Knight, director, Intelligent Health will be joining us on the Collaborate Stage, Day 2 to talk about transformational Tech. I urge everybody to talk some time out of their day to join him.”

The Exhibitor Trail forms part of a broader programme celebrating a decade of Elevate. Over the past ten years the event has grown into one of the UK’s most influential gatherings for professionals working across physical activity, health and wellness, bringing together thousands of decision-makers, suppliers and thought leaders to connect, learn and share ideas. The 2026 edition will reflect on that journey while continuing to support the sector’s future through innovation, education and collaboration.

Future Fit returns as education partner for Elevate 2026

Delivering future-focused programme on health, innovation and workforce development

Elevate has confirmed that Future Fit, its official Education Partner, will once again lead a major strand of its education programme at the 2026 show. The ongoing collaboration delivers focused sessions designed to challenge thinking, spark debate, and support professionals navigating a rapidly evolving physical activity sector.

The Future Fit programme forms part of an ongoing education partnership with Elevate, now entering its fourth year. It has grown into a strategic collaboration that helps shape the show’s education agenda, addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing the sector, from obesity medications and workforce development to inclusion, leadership and long-term business sustainability.

This year, Future Fit’s content across the show’s flagship theatres brings together academics, clinicians, industry operators and specialist practitioners to bridge the gap between research, policy and gym-floor activation. Their sessions will tackle both immediate operational challenges and wider systemic issues shaping the future of fitness.

Across the two-day event, Future Fit sessions will explore topics including:

  • The impact of GLP-1 weight-loss medications on fitness business models, from practical coaching implications to long-term industry disruption
  • Leadership in complex health systems, examining how collaborative, place-based approaches can help address widening health inequalities
  • The fitness sector’s inclusivity gap, questioning whether current imagery, language and business models truly reflect ambitions to reach the inactive majority
  • Sleep and recovery as performance tools, translating evidence-based science into practical client strategies
  • Pre- and post-natal training, offering guidance on safe programming, postpartum recovery and structured return-to-exercise pathways
  • Retention strategies, focused on building resilient, sustainable fitness businesses

In addition to hosting dedicated sessions, Future Fit will act as session hosts and programme connectors across Elevate’s theatre spaces, helping to link themes and driving the broader conversation throughout the event.

Tom Godwin, Chief Commercial Officer, from Future Fit Group adds: “This year's programme reflects the real-world challenges facing fitness professionals right now - from GLP-1 medications disrupting traditional business models to the urgent need for more inclusive, health-focused approaches. We're focused on delivering evidence-based content that addresses both immediate operational pressures and the longer-term systemic shifts shaping our sector. Our aim is to equip professionals with practical strategies that drive workforce development and support sustainable business growth across the physical activity landscape”

Lucy Findlay-Beale, Event Director at Elevate, said: “Our aim for Elevate 2026 is to deliver content that genuinely reflects where the sector is, and where it needs to go. Future Fit’s depth of industry knowledge and their reach across education, healthcare and fitness means they know exactly what conversations matter most, and who is best placed to lead them. Their ability to bring together diverse voices ensures sessions are relevant, interesting and importantly, challenging.”

“As we celebrate Elevate’s 10th anniversary this year, we’re also looking firmly ahead. Future Fit plays a vital role in helping us shape content that supports workforce development and reflects the realities of a changing physical activity landscape.”

Registration is now open for Elevate’s 10th anniversary show, returning to Excel London on 17–18 June 2026. To secure a free place, visit www.elevatearena.com.

Join us in one of the four Theatre's at Elevate 2026 as we bring together the voices shaping the future of physical activity, fitness and sport. View the Programme here

WellnessSpace Brands: Discover self-guided recovery solutions like the RedZone Sauna and PolarWave Dry Plunge—designed to add premium wellness to your facility without adding operational staff.

Good Boost:  Designed to support people living with multiple long-term health conditions, Good Boost has evolved to become less prescriptive around diagnosis and more responsive to how participants feel day to day, recognising that symptoms and wellbeing fluctuate.

Our Commitment to Sustainability
Since 2022, we have taken practical steps to reduce our footprint—from reducing carpet usage and using recyclable signage to prioritising digital solutions like our event app. Through our partnership with Bigwave Media and their Printing Trees initiative, we have also funded the planting of over 10,000 trees to help offset the environmental impact of the show.
