Anytime Fitness, the UK’s leading 24/7 high-spec gym operator, has partnered with Gympass to give its corporate members access to over 170 clubs across UK and Ireland.

The partnership will help Anytime Fitness achieve its objective of helping to create healthier workforces, providing employees across the UK with a convenient and accessible way to fit physical exercise around work, travel and family commitments.

Anytime Fitness is the world’s largest health chain with over 4,500 clubs in 33 countries. As the second largest private operator in the UK, it is set to continue growing rapidly as the appetite for 24/7 clubs continues among both members and franchise owners. The Anytime Fitness model blends perfectly with Gympass as both businesses share a ‘join one, join all’ policy that welcomes members to use any of their sites during staffed hours.

Gympass brings Anytime Fitness franchise owners an incremental revenue stream from the traditionally larger, hard-to-reach corporate companies. It helps existing Anytime Fitness clubs by providing engagement with Gympass’ well-established corporate customer base from which clubs can engage with from the get-go. With Anytime Fitness continuing to grow its club portfolio in the UK, this instant access to corporates will benefit new franchisees who can focus on getting their club up and running whilst Gympass works alongside them to bring new members to their door.

“Anytime Fitness is another exciting business partner in the fitness industry who see the value of focusing on the corporate sector as an opportunity for revenue growth,” says Eamon Lloyd, Gympass Senior Director - Head of Partnerships UK, Ireland & Netherlands.

“We are delighted to partner with the entire Anytime Fitness network in the UK & Ireland and its gyms are an excellent addition to our growing network of fitness partners,” he says.

“Gympass prides itself on offering convenient, affordable and accessible sites to corporate workforces, especially those employees who are not currently physically active. Anytime Fitness shares our ethos and combines top-class facilities with a high level of personal service to really help our users get the most out of their visit.”

“We’re looking forward to working with Gympass on what is an exciting partnership for us both,” said Neil Randall, Anytime Fitness UK CEO. “As a business, we’re committed to improving the overall health of our members and the nation, so being able to reach more workers is a great opportunity for us.

“All of our clubs are independently owned and we know our franchisees are looking forward to welcoming workers from the local community into their clubs and providing them with first-class service. The Gympass partnership strikes a perfect note and supports our passion to make healthy happen across the nation for workforces and individuals while also supporting the growth of our franchisees’ businesses in their local communities.

“Examining Gympass’ data shows that a sizeable amount of their users are new to exercise and the gym, a key audience that we’re keen to support as part of improving the health of the nation. Gympass shares our vision that corporate wellness is much more than just giving employees a discounted gym membership, it’s about supporting them with their goals and this is part of our global brand promise of making healthy happen through caring for our members and taking the time to help them succeed.”
